This 12,000 square foot regional history exhibit features exhibits exploring the hidden stories in material culture; the quality of life as seen through artifacts; the Underground Railroad; myth versus reality in several areas of local history. The Agronomy Game uses direct satellite links to the Chicago Board of Trade and the U.S. Weather Service to allow visitors to see how their crop does in real time, as they move a game piece around a life- size circular board.
